A rental agreement is not one document. It is a German version and an English version, a version for furnished lets and one for unfurnished, a clause that only applies in one jurisdiction, a deposit paragraph that changes with local law, and a date format that flips between markets.
In most property management software every one of those variants is a code change. The operations team writes the wording, files a ticket, waits for a release, and finds the typo after the first tenant has signed. Meanwhile the inspection report is still a Word file someone fills in on a phone, and the tenant statement is exported from a spreadsheet at month end.
The documents are the product your tenants and landlords actually hold in their hands. They should not be the slowest part of it to change.
