This library holds free document templates for invoices and e-invoices, shipping documents, compliance forms and reports. Each one opens in the PDF Generator API template editor with sample data, so you can change the layout in your browser. Then fill it with your own data from the API, a web form or a no code tool such as Make. Every template page lists the fields it expects, so you can map your data before you sign up.

More than a static file

What a PDF Generator API template does that a Word or PDF form cannot

A template here is a layout bound to data. When you send different data, the document changes with it, so one template serves every customer, order or shipment.

Free document template questions

Are these PDF templates free?

Yes. All templates are free to open and edit in the browser. To save your version and generate documents through the API, create a sandbox account, which is free for 14 days and needs no credit card. After that, generation is billed by credits on a paid plan.

Can I download the templates as Word files?

No. These are PDF Generator API templates that you edit in the browser editor and fill with data, and the output is a PDF. If you need a document from Word, you can import its PDF version as the starting point for a template.

How do I fill a template with my own data?

There are three ways. Ask your AI agent through the MCP server, connect Make, Zapier, n8n or a web form, or send your data as JSON to the generate endpoint of the REST API with the template ID. Each way returns the filled PDF.

Do I need to write code to use these templates?

No. You can change a template in the drag and drop editor or describe the change to the AI template builder, which is available on selected plans. To generate documents, an AI agent connected through MCP or a no code tool such as Make does the work. The REST API is there when you want to call it from your own app.

Can my customers edit templates inside my app?

Yes. The embedded template editor runs inside your product, so each of your customers can adjust their own invoice, quote or report template while your app keeps sending the data.

Do you have e-invoice templates?

Yes. The German invoice template is ZUGFeRD ready, and the E-Invoice API turns invoice data into EN 16931, XRechnung and Factur-X files with embedded XML.
