What to include
Which metrics belong in a monthly sales report?
Pick the few numbers your readers act on. These are the ones most teams start with, and each one can be a field, a table column or a chart in the template.

Keep each number next to its comparison: last month, the same month last year or the target. A figure on its own tells the reader little.
