Our dedicated deployment is now available in London. It joins Virginia, Frankfurt and Sydney as our fourth region, which means UK companies can run PDF Generator API on infrastructure where their document data never leaves the country.
What a dedicated deployment is
Most of our customers run on the shared cloud, and for most workloads that is the right call. A dedicated deployment is a different shape. You get a separate instance of PDF Generator API that serves only your application. Your data is ring-fenced from every other customer on the platform, and it is processed only in the region you choose.
Along with that isolation you get your own sub-domain, a custom editor theme in your application’s colours, no monthly document limit under fair usage, and the option to sign a separate Data Processing Agreement covering your specific processing requirements.
Why the UK gets its own region
For years, regional deployment was mostly an EU conversation driven by GDPR. That changed over the last six months. Demand from Australia and the UK rose sharply, and for the same reason in both markets: data localisation moved from a nice-to-have to a line item in the security review.
The UK case is the clearest one. Since leaving the EU it has run its own data protection regime, with the ICO as its regulator rather than an EU authority. Across financial services, healthcare and the public sector, keeping data inside the UK is often a firm requirement. Where it is not firm, it is still the fastest route through procurement, because “the data stays in the UK” closes a question that “the data stays in the EU” only reopens.
London gives those teams the same guarantee our EU, US and APAC customers already take for granted. Data that stays inside their jurisdiction, governed by their compliance regime, and processed close to their users.
What runs in London
The same platform, the same certifications and the same operational model as every other region:
- ISO 27001:2022 certified information security management system
- AWS infrastructure deployed across at least two Availability Zones, with autoscaling
- Encrypted connections throughout, rated grade A by Qualys SSL Labs, with data at rest encrypted in Amazon RDS and S3
- No storage of the data you send or the documents we generate. We keep the template structure and its static content and nothing else. If you use
output=urlwe hold the document for 30 days and then delete it - A separate Data Processing Agreement available for dedicated deployments

Getting a London deployment
Dedicated deployments are quoted per customer, because document volume, requests per minute, support tier and SLA are all set with you rather than picked off a price list. The Enterprise plan on our pricing page is a cloud plan and a different product.
