Security and data processing
Because we operate the infrastructure for a dedicated deployment, we keep it secure and compliant.
Data processing
For a dedicated deployment we act as the data processor and you remain the controller. A Data Processing Agreement can be signed to cover your specific requirements, and we process personal data only for the purposes it sets out. User data is deleted as soon as possible.
Encryption in transit and at rest
Every connection runs over an encrypted SSL channel with TLS 1.2 and a SHA256withRSA signature, rated grade A by Qualys SSL Labs. Data at rest sits in Amazon RDS or S3 with encryption, automated backups and snapshots. We never store the data you send or the documents we generate, only the template structure.
Authentication
Sign in with a username and password, Google or GitHub, each with multi factor authentication through Auth0. Server to server calls use signed JSON Web Tokens (RFC 7519), sent as a Bearer token on every request so tokens cannot be reused.
Disaster recovery
The application runs on Kubernetes and Docker images across at least two AWS Availability Zones, with autoscaling that replaces unhealthy instances automatically. Managed with Terraform and ArgoCD, the entire stack can be redeployed in another AWS region within four hours.
Our infrastructure provider, Amazon Web Services, is GDPR compliant and part of the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Choose a European AWS region for EEA data residency.
